For theses, audiovisual materials, and documents from certain special collections, please contact the staff, who will retrieve the requested material. Some journals are also accessible online, or only online: this can be checked by consulting the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/univda.sebina.it\/opac\/.do\"><strong>catalog<\/strong><\/a><span>. The periodicals are kept at the Chemin Cappuccini library headquarters.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/06\/imgi_8_x39_3_1_.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h3>Theses<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p><span>All theses defended at the University up to 2019 are deposited in paper format at the Chemin Cappuccini library headquarters. If the author has given consent, they can be <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.univda.it\/servizi\/biblioteca\/consultazione-documenti\/\"><strong>consulted<\/strong><\/a><span> at the library. Theses deposited from 2020 onwards, which are only available in digital format, can be consulted online via the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/univda.unitesi.cineca.it\/\"><strong>UniVdArTe<\/strong><\/a><span> portal.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/international\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/06\/imgi_8_x39_3_1_.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h3>Print monographs<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p><span>Mainly open access, arranged according to the Dewey Decimal Classification, at the Chemin Cappuccini library headquarters. They include volumes covering the disciplines taught at the University of Aosta Valley, as well as reference works such as dictionaries and encyclopedias. Books for exam preparation and certain language dictionaries can be found at the library desk on Rue Monte Vodice.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>ReteIndaco<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div>\n<p>Numerous free digital resources are also accessible via the <a href=\"https:\/\/univda.sebina.it\/opac\/article\/rete-indaco\/reteindaco\"><strong>ReteINDACO<\/strong><\/a> platform: e-books and newspaper articles, as well as music, videos, language courses&#8230; (registration for library services is required to access some of these resources).<\/p>\n<p>Several e-books included in exam syllabi can also be borrowed for two weeks: these texts are accessible directly from the <a href=\"https:\/\/univda.sebina.it\/opac\/.do\">online catalog<\/a>, by searching by title and\/or author.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2><strong>Catalogue<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div>\n<p>The library catalog is accessible online. It allows you to obtain information about the library&#8217;s documents (books, periodicals, CDs and DVDs, theses, e-books, and other digital documents from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/univda.sebina.it\/opac\/article\/rete-indaco\/reteindaco\">ReteINDACO<\/a><\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>Beyond bibliographic information and document location, the catalog also provides information on the status of individual copies: it is possible to find out whether a document is on loan and its expected return date, whether there are already reservations, and whether a document can be borrowed or must be consulted on site. Users registered for the lending services can also make reservations, request documents and extensions, and check their status by entering their login credentials. Access the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/univda.sebina.it\/opac\/.do\">library&#8217;s online catalog<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2><strong>Regulations on access to library services<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div>\n<p><span>To find out the detailed rules for using the university library&#8217;s services, it is advisable to consult the regulations on access to library services, which are understood to be accepted in full at the time of registration.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><p>\n        <a href=\"https:\/\/www.univda.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Regolamento_biblioteca_09.03.12.pdf\">DOWNLOAD<\/a>\n    <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Inter-library loan and document delivery for other libraries<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div>\n<p>The university library guarantees inter-library loan and document delivery services. This service operates on a basis of <strong>reciprocal free exchange<\/strong>. If the requesting library does not offer this exchange arrangement, reimbursement of costs is required at the following rates:<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 \u00bd IFLA coupon for individual document delivery;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 1 IFLA coupon for monograph loans.<\/p>\n<p>Other payment methods, such as payment via PagoPA slip, postal account, or bank account, must be agreed upon in advance with the University Library.<\/p>\n<p>Requests <strong>can be made directly online<\/strong>, using the forms specifically provided for this purpose, available at the bottom of the page, or sent by email to <a href=\"mailto:biblioteca@univda.it\">biblioteca@univda.it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Each request can cover <strong>a maximum of 3 books for inter-library loan and 5 periodicals<\/strong> or other documents for the document delivery service; each library may in no case exceed the maximum limit of <strong>10 documents requested per month<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Excluded<\/strong> from inter-library loan are reference works, including dictionaries, particularly valuable works, works published more than 60 years ago, theses, periodicals, and documents classified as &#8220;EXAMS.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Loans are granted for a period of <strong>30 days, renewable for an additional 15 days<\/strong> upon explicit request submitted before the due date and provided there are no reservations for the document. The library reserves the right to establish any restrictions on home loans due to the particular nature of the requested documents. The receiving library is responsible for the correct use and timely return of the documents.<\/p>\n<p>The library is present on <a href=\"https:\/\/acnpsearch.unibo.it\/\"><strong>ACNP<\/strong><\/a> (Italian periodicals catalog), <a href=\"https:\/\/nildeworld.bo.cnr.it\/\"><strong>NILDE<\/strong><\/a> (platform for secure document exchange), and <a href=\"https:\/\/prestito.iccu.sbn.it\/ILLWeb\/servlets\/ILL\"><strong>ILL-SBN<\/strong><\/a> (platform for transmitting document requests).
