Grants
Grants, Scholarships, housing allowances and meal tickets.
Each academic year, during the autumn term, two calls for applications are published for the awarding of scholarships based on academic merit and financial need (income).
The second call features similar requirements regarding academic merit but typically establishes a higher ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) maximum limit.
Eligible students may also obtain a tuition fee reimbursement: 100% coverage for the first call and a partial percentage for the second.
International Mobility Supplement: Students who meet the scholarship requirements may also benefit from a financial supplement for a duration of ten months for international mobility programs (refer to Art. 10 of the two scholarship calls mentioned above).
Meal Voucher Supplement: Scholarship-eligible students are also entitled to a financial supplement for meal vouchers (amounting to €150.00).
Students may also apply for a housing allowance in addition to their scholarship. Two calls for applications are released each year; these specify deadlines and maintain merit and income requirements similar to those of the general scholarship.
Students are eligible for a 60% reimbursement of the cost of monthly rail passes used on the Aosta – Turin railway line.
PLEASE NOTE: the economic status of international students not resident in Italy will be judged using the equivalent Indicator of personal financial situations used in their country of origin. This will be calculated as the sum of their foreign income and 20% of the value of their foreign assets.
